My Head canon of The Eternal Champion and The Agent
So, i havent really played Arena and Daggerfall, but there is this thing that tells me that The Eternal Champion and The Agent used to be adventurers like you ambassadors from their kingdoms but
- The Eternal Champion saw Jagar Tharn’s betray
- The Agent was betrayed by a opposing group or something like that
It actually makes some sense, at least for me.
They do? Perhaps M’aiq simply immune to their charm.

A tale from the stars
Many years ago, before Akatosh throw himself into mundis, a brave thief stole an artifact from the Deadra, it was the key that opened the gates of Oblivion, and afraid of what could happen if they found it, she decide to hide it.
But there was no place for she to hide it, none that Nocturnal’s Eye couldn’t reach, none that was safe from Shegorath madness, or where Mephala strings couldn’t meddle into.
So she locked for the aid of The Mage and His Apprentice, and they accepted to help her as long as she could pay for it.
Knowing there was no easy way to steal enough to pay for the hiding place of the key she turned into The Shadow and traveled to a nervy castle where she leaved the shadows as The Lover.
Once inside she search for The Lord, but found The Lady instead. She seduced The Lady and convinced her to help her persuade The Lord into paying for The Mage and Aprentice services.
But The Warror discovered her identity and threatened to kill the thief. Knowing that she couldn’t hide her intentions form The Warrior she revealed her true intentions: to hide the key from the Deadra.
So they accepted and the construction of The Tower beggin.
The Warrior rode his Stead helped to carry the materials needed for the construction of the Tower. The Mage and The Apprentice used a Ritual to summon The Atronach to help. Even The Thief helped by going where no one else could reach.
By the time The Tower was finished it raised over the horizon, defying the rules of nature and the rules of magika.
But Mehrunes Dagon wanted that key, so he sip in the the bloody soil of his Oblivion realm and shape it in the form of a Serpent before trowing it to Nirn with instructions to find and destroy The Tower and recover the key.
The Serpent was as long as a dragon; Horns grow form from his head; it’s mouth was full of sharp teethes and they drip poison.
The thief was the first to fall, her luck had finally run out that day when a drop of poison fall on an open wound.
The Warrior’s Stead was bitten, but his sacifice give The Warrior enough time to blind the Serpent.
Blinded The Serpent spit fire and melted The Warrior’s armor, but he didn’t stop until The Serpent impale him with its horns.
The Mage and The Aprentice were behind them, casting the most powerful destruction spells they could, but it was in bane, it didn’t stop The serpent.
The serpent spit fire once again and killed The Aprentice, but The Mage went unharmed as The Atronach protect him, absorbing the fire.
The Atronach fought The Serpent returning it’s own fire to it, but it was slowly falling apart.
The Mage understanding that all hope was lost decided to make one last sacrifice.
Once again he he use a Ritual, this time to take down The Tower and everything and everyone inside.
And The Tower fell.
But in the end, it was worth it, The Serpent had been slain and the key was lost, so no deadra would be able to use it.
And do to their bravery one of the aedra shaped the night sky so it could tell this tale, and forever be remember.
Unfortunately the hate that created The Serpent was powerful enough to follow them into the sky, and it still roams the sky looking for that missing key.
I know this is quite crappy, I don’t know how this ended so badly
Flame Atronachs bathing in lava
think about that for a minute
I’m trying to write some TES fanlore
But I’m kind of stuck.
It’s about the Birthsings if someone out there is curious.
